Verizon Web Book Review. Empty
PostSubject: Verizon Web Book Review.   Verizon Web Book Review. EmptySun Oct 16, 2011 3:51 pm

With net books, notebook computers, and mini's being very popular these days, Verizon not too long ago launched a $199 HP . P . Mini1151 NR Broadband 10. 1 inch Notebook which is buzzing all the pc circles, and saturating any T. V. ad blotches.

After a few days of searching, reading critical reviews, looking at specs, statistics, performance, dimensions and everything else all the down to the available colors and lastly, price, I have found (and purchased) the best notebook that can be purchased for the money.

To start with, the Verizon Mini is $199 if you sign a 2 year service contract for:

$39. 99 month to month access for 250 MB month-to-month allowance and 10 cents per megabyte overage, for anyone that:

* Need a cellular connection 7-8 hours thirty days
(a month? I need that your particular day! )
* Send out or receive email along with small or no attachments
* Light Web Shopping
* Download or transfer small files
* Download a song or two occasionally (? )

or
$59. 99 monthly access using a 5 GB monthly allowance and 5 cents for each megabyte overage, for those which:

* Need a constant mobile connection
* Send out or receive email along with large attachments
* Download or upload large files for instance photos
* Need frequent usage of Web sites
* Down load music occasionally

Without the two year agreement, the note pad costs $599!

However, minus the 2 year agreement, you then have the option of purchasing a day pass for you if you:

* Want the versatility of using Mobile Broadband wthout using long-term commitment
* Only need broadband data access occasionally
* Cost is $15 just a day (per 24 hr period) How a lot of those do you think you'll rack up in a very year? Just 5 days monthly is $75!

They don't offer an unlimited monthly insurance policy for mobile broadband, you win an "allowance", and you can find overage charges if you exceed your monthly "allowance"... a bad deal for the average to heavy user, and even the casual one of which does not want to ration their particular internet time.

Verizon's Netbook computer and 3G Network Poor Freedom and Versatility
Competition Already Launching Worldwide 4G WIMAX
Next: The Verizon notebook boasts 3G access around the Verizon network. The problem the real key is.... Verizon is trailing behind others like Sprint, Clear and many more who are already rolling out their 4G networks worldwide, otherwise known as WIMAX (which is known as Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) that offers higher speeds and much wider coverage areas.

Third: The item description plainly states that your notebook can only be applied with a compatible product plan, kind of like how some mobile phone can only be used on the network that you purchased them for.... so this laptop will undoubtedly work (access the internet) generally if i have a Verizon product plan?

Is There the best Alternative?
I really would like a mini notebook but as always, this was a tad too good to be true. What do I accomplish now?
After a weeks of searching, reading critical reviews, looking at specs, statistics, performance, dimensions and everything else all the down to the available colors and lastly, price, I have found (and purchased) the best notebook that can be purchased for the money.

Acer, the business that owns Gateway, Packard-Bell, and E-machines is in charge of the mini notebook marketplace and Verizon's latest notebook offering pales matched against the Acer Aspire 1 11. 6 inch Note pad.
I already own 3 big screen monitors from Acer, therefore i was already familiar by their quality.

Having read many reviews (0ver 300) with the smaller model (Aspire 1 10. 1), I opted to look for the new version the Acer Aspire You 11. 6 Notebook.

ALRIGHT, Sounds Good! Where May i get One?
I came across the Aspire One 11. 6 " Netbook on Amazon with regard to $329,
There is in addition the Acer Aspire One 10. 1 for $319
As well as the Acer Aspire One 8. 9 Netbook computer for $309

All have 160 GB Hard disk drive and 1 GB RAM or over with varying battery options from 3-6 cell. (3-8 Hrs of battery life)

In comparison to $599 for the Verizon laptop (without a 2 12 months contract) with less memory, a smaller screen, a smaller amount resolution, or $199 using a 2 year service contract even so it only works on that Verizon Network.

Or any Verizon Dell mini (also by means of 10" display) that commences at $399! (service deal still required).

Some for the Aspire models are Azure Tooth ready. The model that we purchased ($329) was not, which I rectified by having a $19 Blue Tooth USB adapter ( I've seen them as little as $3. 00, and for those who buy a Blue teeth mouse anyway, you already have the adapter), so that I don't need tie the USB ports with peripherals, which usually also makes my small Acer Notebook Wifi, WIMAX, and also Bluetooth network ready.

My partner and i Purchased the Acer Want One 11. 6 " Netbook
I got the Orange Sapphire One and Couldn't be Happier for it!
I have had a Aspire One AO751h relating to 2 weeks now (I found the Sapphire Blue) and even I couldn't be happier and I've already road tested it with the local coffee shops and various other places around town and also have gotten rave reviews right from total strangers ( who always ask, "Is the Verizon one? I was thinking bout getting one particular. ") which inevitably ultimately ends up with me discussing the differences within two while people slim over my shoulder like Freezing purchased a new canine, or are showing off pictures within the kids to the household members.

Being a Sprint client, I already had a fabulous Sprint Broadband USB card ($49. 99 unlimited from the way), but I am liberal to use what ever I choose to the life of the actual Notebook, it is not pre-installed with most things will lock me right into a contract.

Comparing the couple of, I just think of the fact that Verizon HP, or Verizon Dell notebooks are much. They look great once you see them on Capital t. V., but upon farther investigation, they aren't stocked nearly plus the Acers, nor do they feature the freedom. It's one thing undertake a phone that is to a network, but another thing I wanted was broaden tied to one.

I think, you can certainly do a lot better than the Verizon model and Now i'm very happy with all the Acer Aspire Series.
